This year I again solicited pictures for the fair, as we weren't able to go this year. At least from seeing them, I was able to get an arm chair visit of sorts.

The first set of pictures were sent to me by a fellow MSSF member Margie Whitnah,  These include some from the Crystal Springs foray (for some of the fair specimen collection), and a few taken while the fungi were being sorted prior to the opening of the fair.

The pictures should help to show how much work goes into the fair each and every year.

A big satanas

Very big!

I I believe this to be a Boletus chrysenteron parasitized by a hypomyces
Amanita sp.

Amanita vaginata
